The photographic series Ecke, Hoek, Hörn and the text work Licht, Licht, Ljus, conceived as an extension of the exhibition and an additional space, are included in the publication. Spierenburg’s practice centers in on the meaning of space and on how she can approach it directly as an artist. For the booklet and exhibition, she systematically studied the architectural structures and interiors of the Kunsthaus Glarus (CH), the Östergötlands Museum in Linköping (SE), and the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam (NL), creating a multi-part body of work from this research. The photo series presents twelve images of corner situations from the three museums, printed on six double-sided loose sheets. Inserted between the pages is the text work Licht, Licht, Ljus, composed of isolated light-related terms found in travel accounts and studies from the museums’ archives.
